Saudi Electronic University and Software AG partner to bolster innovation in the kingdom

: Software AG (Frankfurt MDAX: SOW) has entered into a strategic partnership with Saudi Electronic University to empower and nurture local talent through rigorous study and hands-on work to enable a future workforce in line with its Global University Program. The collaboration also extends to the Saudi university’s research centre joining Software AG’s PartnerConnect program, that will support the institute to boost innovation and drive transformation through cutting-edge technologies along with the software company in the country. The MoU that was signed in line with Vision 2030 at the recently held LEAP 2022 aims to impart training to the next gen workforce in innovation technologies and build cooperation for the kingdom’s continued transformation.

The agreement was signed by Dr Hussain AlJahdali, acting dean of Research and Studies Institute at Saudi Electronic University and Philippe La Fornara, President, EMEA, Software AG, Software AG in the presence of President of Saudi Electronic University, Prof. Lilac Alsafadi

Hussain AlJahdali, Saudi Electronic University said: “Digital transformation is a vital part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The cooperation with Software AG is aimed at creating innovative environments and encouraging wider adoption of new-age technologies, thereby advancing Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation agenda. This is a significant move for us to contribute to innovation in the kingdom by engaging our students through hands on experimentation in real world applications, crucial to real-world learning for student in latest technological developments. The collaboration fits with our strategy to prepare students for their workplaces while also driving robust innovation capabilities and transform organizations into efficient digital businesses by delivering real value.”
