تتميز سيارات شيري تيجو 8 برو، و 8 برو ماكس  بتقنياتها المتطورة وحساسيتها العالية لكل ما يقوم به السائق أثناء القيادة.، حيث زودت السيارة بأربع عشرة وظيفة من وظائف أنظمة مساعدة القيادة ضمن أنظمة حماية ذكية ومتكاملة منها مثبت السرعة التكيفي (ADAS)، ونظام التحذير  لحركة المرور الخلفية ((RCTA، ونظام التنبيه من الاصطدام الأمامي(FCW)، لتشمل بذلك كافة ظروف القيادة في الأحوال الجوية المختلفة.
ويكمُن التحدي  عند وضعية الرجوع إلى الخلف؛ لوجود نقاط عمياء في المرآة الخلفية، ومن هنا يأتي دور نظام التحذير من الاصطدام الخلفي RCTA. فعند الرجوع الخلفي لسيارة تيجو 8 برو (TIGGO 8 PRO )،يعمل النظام على مساعدة السائق في الكشف عن المنطقة الموجودة خلف المركبة في كلا الجانبين وإبقاء السائق على دراية بما إذا كان هناك مركبات أو مشاة أو أي عائق آخر في النقطة العمياء من المرآة الخلفية، وبمجرد وجود خطر اصطدام، يُصدر النظام صوتاً تحذيرياً، كما سيتم إنارة رمز التنبيه BMS الخاص بمراقبة النقاط العمياء.
علاوة على ذلك، تُشكل النقطة العمياء في المرآة الخلفية خطراً على السلامة عند تغيير المسار عند السير على الطرقات . وإن كنت غير قادر على رؤية المركبات التي تسير خلفك من الجهة اليمنى، فسيؤدي ذلك الى حدوث كارثة خلال أقل من ثانية. ولكن بفضل نظام النقاط العمياء BSD، يمكن لتيجو 8 برو تجنب مثل هذه الحوادث، باستخدام مستشعرات الرادار، حبث يراقب نظام BSD النقاط العمياء في الجهة الخلفية من المركبة، وعندما يرصد المستشعر إقتراب جسم ما، يتم عرض إشارة ضوء على المرآة ؛ للتحذير من الخطر حتى في حال عدم رؤية النقطة العمياء.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، ثمة خطر آخر من النقاط العمياء الخلفية عند فتح الباب في حالة وقوف المركبة والذي يمكن أن يؤدي إلى حادث سير عند عدم توخي الحذر. فجُهّزت تيجو 8 برو بنظام تحذير فتح الباب DOW الذي يُتيح للرادار الخلفي مراقبة الهدف المتحرك في الجانب الخلفي من النقاط العمياء للمركبة عند فتح الباب في حالة الوقوف، وعند تحديد وجود خطر حدوث اصطدام بسبب فتح باب المركبة، يتم إصدار تحذير من خلال إشارة ضوء من المرآة الخلفية.
فضلاً عن ذلك، جُهّزت تيجو 8 برو أيضاً بنظام تحذير من الاصطدام الأمامي FCW ونظام الفرملة الطارئة التلقائية AEB اللذان يُحددان من خطر وقوع حادث خلف المركبة حسب مسافة وسرعة المركبة الأمامية، وعند حالة الفرملة الطارئة أو غيرها من الحالات غير المتوقعة الأخرى، يُرسل النظام أشكالاً مختلفة من التحذيرات للسائق والتحكم بالفرامل بفعالية عند الضرورة؛ لتجنب حدوث اصطدام أو التخفيف من عواقبه.

A vehicle that really thinks what users think and relieves users’ worries is definitely in need of intelligent technology. Specifically, it is equipped with 12 ADAS functions such as adaptive cruise control (ACC), rear cross traffic alert (RCTA) and front collision warning (FCW), covering all-weather driving scenarios so as to build an all-round intelligent safety protection circle for users.

Moreover, TIGGO 8 PRO is also equipped with forward collision warning(FCW) system and autonomous emergency braking(AEB), which can determine whether there is a risk of rear-end accident according to the distance and speed of the vehicle in front, and upon encountering the emergency braking of the vehicle in front and other unexpected situations, the system will send various forms of warning to the driver and apply the brakes actively when necessary so as to avoid a collision or mitigate the consequences of a collision.
