BIGO Technology Joins HITEX to Showcase Cutting-Edge Technologies and Foster Growth

HITEX is an annual computer and electronics exhibition and conference held at the Erbil International Fairground. It attracts hundreds of local and international technology companies, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their latest products, services, and technological innovations. As a proud participant, BIGO Technology hosted a stand at the conference, captivating attendees and technology enthusiasts with its cutting-edge technologies and engaging discussions.
One of the key highlights of BIGO Technology’s participation at HITEX was the promotion of its flagship livestreaming application, Bigo Live. Through its participation at the event, BIGO Technology demonstrated the use of AI-enabled in-app features across applications as well as its robust content management system, ensuring the delivery of high-quality content to its millions of users across the region. Bigo Live empowers quality and talented broadcasters by providing them with a platform to create and promote their content. Additionally, Bigo Live viewers had the privilege of experiencing HITEX from anywhere in Iraq and the wider Middle East, enabling them to be immersed into the conference experience.

To enhance the awareness of live streaming and excitement at the exhibition, BIGO Technology also invited renowned influencers from the region, including the esteemed Karar Al-Fatlawi, to join them on-ground. These influential broadcasters conducted live streams on Bigo Live, showcasing the event and providing their unique perspectives. Furthermore, visitors to BIGO Technology’s stand had the opportunity to participate in lottery draws, with a chance to win gifts, making their HITEX experience even more rewarding.

Among the notable visitors were Mr. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region of Iraq; His Excellency Mr. Kamal Muslim, the Minister of Trade and Industry of Kurdistan; His Excellency, Mr. Ano Abdoka, the Minister of Transport and Communications; and Mr. Fuad Al-Majali, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s Consul General in Kurdistan Region. Their presence served as a testament to the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in the technology sector.
